GSA League 2021: Start of the second season on April 9th

Ubisoft announced that from April 9, eight high-profile teams will compete for the ultimate title of GSA Champion 2021 and a total prize pool of € 40,000. The prize pool is divided among all participating teams, so that the eighth-placed team also goes home with a profit. In addition, the highest ranked team that has not yet participated in the European League will receive a place in the Challenger League.

The following teams have been selected and will compete in the GSA League 2021:

G2 Sports
The GSA League Champion of 2020 will want to defend his title with well-known players like Juhani “Kantoraketti” Toivonen, team captain Aleksi “UUNO” Työppönen and newcomer Jordan “Kayak” Morley. The organization, based in Berlin, can also look back on other great successes – the reigning EU League Champion has also established himself as one of the most successful teams in Rainbow Six esports history with victories at the Six Invitational 2019 and the Six Major Paris 2018.

The e-sports organization of Rogue has enjoyed great success for many years and was able to secure the runner-up title in the GSA League last year. Will the successful team around German greats like Maurice “AceeZ” Erkelenz, Lukas “Korey” Zwingmann, Jan “ripz” Hucke and newcomer Pascal “cryn” Alouane play their way to the top this year?

Team Secret
The EU League participant and third place in the GSA League Finals 2020 returns with experienced GSA League players Kevin “Prano” Pranowitz, Fynn “Drvn” Lorenzen and Vincent “Hife” Finkenwirth. After a strong last season, they want to attack again at the top.

Sissi State Punks

The young team from Austria brings the former “WarKidZ” players Philipp “Daya” Kesper and Tobias “Tooobi” Kohl with them. Together with the former FACT Gaming players Denis “BZ” Dupljak, Marko “Gisela” Pilia and Justin “Zenoxo” Osztafi they will stir up the GSA League this year.

Speaking of stir things up – the new team around Captain Benedikt “Shermi” Rostok and GSA League veterans Christian “Kapkan” Steffenses and Maksymilian “Mekses” Borkowski takes the place of DIVIZON this year. The lineup made it to the playoffs last year – is there even more this year?

Looking for Org
The former FACT Gaming players Brian “StrkR” Hildebrandt and Lennart “Witheball” Kimmritz are competing with new teammates again without a represented organization and are bringing new faces to the GSA League with this completely German team. FACT Gaming came in 6th last year.

Penta Sports
The former PS4 team “White Tigers”, which has been active since the Six Lounge Series, now competes with Penta Sports (Six Invitational 2018 Champion) as an organization and was able to secure a place in the GSA League 2021 via the GSA Relegation Playoffs . With the brothers Burak “FluchTw4geN” and Fatih “CCcaaNaVaR” Yavuz as well as Firat “Levolution” Hisan, Cumali “Tsuky” Saritas and Bayburtlu “Sadrzm” Oğlu, the team would like to prove itself on PC.

GC Esport
The GSA League newcomers to the former Austrian Penta player “KojiR6” could also play via relegation to the GSA League 2021 and are ready to prove their skills against the best of the best. Can you achieve a coup similar to that of DIVIZON and make it out of the qualifiers straight into the finals?

All games will be live on the official Twitch channel transfer. The first day of play is Friday, April 9th, all other games will be played on a Thursday.

By far the youngest and newest member of the editorial team. He’s been playing since the Gameboy Advance…. (As I said, by far the youngest). It really started with the PlayStation2, but then remained true to the brand.
