Chocolat Frey failed when trying to keep up with Lindt chocolates. That is why more expensive Frey products are now disappearing from the Migros shelves.

The Migros pig Miggy is currently practicing bungee jumping. The wholesaler’s mascot is thus announcing a «drop in prices» in advertisements on many products. Various chocolates from the company’s own manufacturer Chocolat Frey are also significantly cheaper.

This just before the Lindt and Toblerone chocolates are added to the Migros range. The wholesaler is doing a U-turn. The strategy of defying the premium brand Lindt with Frey has failed.
