Markus Ploner is leaving IQAM Invest

Dr. Markus Ploner (54), Managing Director of IQAM Invest GmbH, will leave the company at his own request on March 31 of this year in order to face new professional challenges in the future. The responsibility for the sales area in the management will be interim Dr. Thomas Steinberger (50), CIO and long-time managing director of IQAM Invest for the areas of asset management, research & development as well as IT & organization. He is supported by Michael lllsinger (Sales Austria) and Ralf Bräuer (Sales abroad).

From April 1, 2021, Holger Wern (51) will also join the management team as the third managing director and accompany the integration process with Deka. Wern has a high level of integration expertise. With his appointment, the close cooperation between IQAM and Deka will be promoted so that IQAM customers will also benefit from Deka’s expertise in the future. Wern has been with the Deka Group for twelve years, where he has been managing director of subsidiaries, including Deka Vermögensmanagement GmbH, for several years.
