The UN Special Rapporteur on Myanmar, Tom Andrews, strongly condemns the actions of the military junta in Myanmar. He calls on the world to intervene.
On the same day, protests against the February 1 military coup in 40 cities across the country killed at least 91 people. It was the deadliest day since the coup of military ruler Min Aung Hlaing. The day before, 30 people had been killed.
