The stricter corona rules affect different areas. The hope is that in the next four weeks, the virus can be prevented from spreading further – and above all from overloading the health system.

Meetings of more than four people are prohibited, but children under the age of 13 are not included. The non-medical contact professions such as hairdressers and other beauty specialists have to close again.

The so-called non-essential shops and service providers are allowed to continue their operations, but only with an order and pick-up system or with a system for making appointments for shopping under certain conditions. Essential businesses such as those for groceries or pharmacies and various others are not affected.

The ministerial decision also specifies the obligation to telework. Companies and businesses must declare the functions and activities that cannot be performed from the home office. Demonstrations in public are allowed, but must remain static and no more than 50 people are allowed to participate. In addition, between April 3 and April 18 and April 24 and 25, the passenger capacities of the trains will be limited in order to ensure compliance with the sanitary protection measures.

The only exception is the ban on unnecessary trips abroad, which expires on April 18th.
