Isonzo is a tactical multiplayer shooter from M2H and Blackmill Games for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S has been announced. The shooter from the makers of Verdun and Tannenberg is supposed to focus on the fighting in a mountain region during the First World War. The developers named the two-year struggle for control of the Isonzo river valley and the Alps in general as sources of inspiration.
There are two parliamentary groups to choose from, either the “Kingdom of Italy” or the “Austro-Hungarian dual monarchy”. Different classes are also planned. The developers want to put a lot of emphasis on historical accuracy (maps, weapons, music, uniforms) and also implement poison gas attacks, air support and artillery strikes. The game is slated for release later this year. Isonzo forms the “WW1 Game Series” together with Verdun and Tannenberg.
