The Chinese manufacturer also wants to prove with the premium model Find X3 Pro that Oppo can not only gain a foothold in the competitive cell phone market with cheap cell phones such as the Reno 4 Z. The significantly increased price range is already noticeable in the display. An AMOLED panel is used here, which cut an excellent figure in our laboratory test. With a WQHD + resolution of 3,216 x 1,440 pixels, a very high pixel density of 521 ppi is offered on the 6.7-inch diagonal – the smartphone therefore always presents content with crisp sharpness.
Thanks to a refresh rate of 120 Hertz, the screen can also be scrolled wonderfully smoothly, as is known from the Galaxy S21, for example. To save the battery, you can also select 60 Hertz.
But that’s not all: The display is also very bright, because the 895 cd / m² we measured ensure that you can see everything well outdoors in the sunshine. The checkerboard contrast is a good 165: 1 without ambient light. However, it falls off in bright rooms and is rather mediocre in comparison. Thanks to the high brightness, the Oppo Find X3 Pro cuts a very good figure.
The color representation of the Oppo Find X3 Pro is on a high-end level: in the laboratory we not only measure 153 percent coverage of the standard color space, but also a complete representation of the extended DCI-P3 color space.
