Xiaomi’s former brand, Poco, is now competing independently. The smartphones F3 and X3 Pro should also come to Germany with a very good price-performance ratio.
The Poco F3 has a fast Snapdragon 870 processor that is clocked at up to 3.2 GHz. 5G and WiFi 6 are supported. The 6.7-inch Amoled display with 120 Hz has a very small hole for the front camera. The battery offers 4520 mAh and can be charged with 33W.
The rear triple camera has a 48-megapixel main lens as well as a 119-degree wide angle and a macro lens. A separate microphone in the camera unit is intended to significantly improve audio recordings during videos. There are also two speakers with Dolby Dual Atmos.
The 7.8 millimeter thin housing is available in black, white and blue, with the fingerprint sensor on the side. The F3 costs EUR 349.90 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of data storage, and EUR 399.90 with 8 and 256 GB.
Poco also showed the X3 Pro. It is the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 860 processor, but it is not yet 5G-capable. The battery offers 5160 mAh, a 33W fast charger is included.
The rear quadruple camera has a 48-megapixel main lens, a 119-degree wide angle and lenses for macro and depth of field. The 20-megapixel front cam is placed in a small hole in the 6.7-inch display with 120 Hz. The case, which comes in blue, black and bronze, has two different textures on the back and also offers a jack plug for headsets.
With 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of data storage, it costs 249 euros, with 8 and 256 GB it is 299 euros – very attractive prices given the equipment.
