Lakers – Davos 2:4

HC Davos also won the 7th duel of the season against the Lakers without losing points. Marc Wieser brought the Davosers to victory thanks to two goals before the Lakers could equalize the game within 3 minutes. Teemu Turunen used an excess of Graubünden to take the lead again, which Yannick Frehner expanded in the last third. So it was a disappointment for the Rapperswil goalkeeper Melvin Nyffeler on his comeback – he played the first game since January 26th after a foot injury.

SCL Tigers – Zug 4:5

The game between leader Zug and the bottom light from the Emmental seemed decided after 40 minutes. The Central Swiss had everything under control and comfortably led 3-0. But the Tigers turned up in the last third and turned the game in their favor. Zug then took the goalkeeper off the ice and equalized thanks to a goal from Jan Kovar. 39 seconds later, Dario Simion shot Zug to the expected victory. Thus, the Tigers remained without a point win in the 6th season duel with the EVZ.

Bern – ZSC 2:3 n.P.

In the fight for a pre-playoff place, SC Bern could only benefit to a limited extent from the defeat of the direct competitor from Rapperswil. Against the ZSC Lions, the Bernese lost 2: 3 after penalty shootouts. Tim Berni had equalized the game in the 56th minute less than a minute after Vincent Praplan’s supposed winner from Bern. In the penalty shootout, Dennis Hollenstein, Sven Andrighetto and Roman Wick scored 3 of 4 Zurich shooters. Because only Inti Pestoni was successful for the Bernese, the ZSC Lions secured the additional point.

Freiburg – Lausanne 2: 1 nP

The game between Lausanne and Freiburg was only decided in the penalty shoot-out. After a promising start – Killian Mottet put Freiburg in the lead in the third minute – no more goals were scored for a long time. It was only shortly after the middle of the game that Christoph Bertschy equalized for Lausanne. After that, the two goalkeepers could not be beaten out of the game. In the penalty shootout, Reto Berra was able to defuse all of Lausanne’s attempts. For the second time this season, the Freiburg team won a game against Lausanne in a shootout.
