The rescue workers presented a terrible picture. A car went off the road near Anthering, north of Salzburg and not far from the Bavarian border. The car in which the three occupants were crashed into a tree.
Accident: men not wearing seat belts and driving without a driver’s license
According to the current state of the investigation, two men were thrown from the car. A third had to be rescued from the wreck. The emergency doctor could only determine the deaths of the three men at the age of 25, 29 and 36 years. The police did not provide any further information on the identity of the victims.
At first it was just as unclear who had driven the car, as was the cause of the accident. Shocking details: As the police further announced, none of the three men were buckled up and none of them had a valid driver’s license. (dpa)
