After the violent death of Sarah Everard († 33), Duchess Kate (39) wrote moving lines to the bereaved.
“Kate’s letter was deeply personal and heartfelt,” the Daily Mirror quoted an insider as saying. “She wrote that she knew that words couldn’t change what happened.”
She still wanted to let the relatives know that she and Sarah are on her mind.
The Kensington Palace did not want to comment on the “private correspondence”.
Everard was allegedly kidnapped and killed by a police officer on his way home in south London in early March. At a vigil on March 13, Kate had already laid flowers for the killed marketing director. Before her relationship with William, 38, the Duchess lived near the area where Everard was ambushed.
According to “Mirror”, her letter “extremely touched” the family.
