Elon Musk’s favorite hobby is again producing images for our news scouts. On the night of Friday, these could be seen in several places in Switzerland.

The company SpaceX of Tesla founder Elon Musk wants to offer faster Internet with Starlink.

The satellites have been circling over Switzerland regularly for over a year and are providing special images.

The Starlink Internet already exists in various countries and is soon to come to Switzerland as well.
Since 2018, the company SpaceX from multibillionaire and Tesla founder Elon Musk has been sending satellites from the Starlink satellite chain into the air. Because these fly so low, they can be seen particularly brightly. Starlink flew over Switzerland for the first time in January 2020. At that time, the new light phenomenon caused a surprise, some thought it was a particularly long shooting star.
Starlink wants to provide the world with fast internet
Starlink’s goal is to create better Internet access in remote regions in the future. From the middle of this year it should also be possible to order Internet access in Switzerland. However, this has its price: you will probably have to shell out 94 francs per month for the pleasure.
According to the SpaceX boss, the company must first recoup the investment costs for the satellites. Musk promises faster internet than existing satellite connections because the Starlink satellites orbit closer to the earth.
Spacex competes with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The service is already available in Canada and other countries. The reason for this is its northern location. So far, only areas between 37 and 55 degrees of latitude can be served. As of this month, parts of Great Britain are also new, as the tech website Inverse reports. Via the tracker, which a particularly passionate Starlink fan designed, you can always see where the fairy lights are currently visible.
