As early as 2019, the aircraft manufacturer increased the maximum take-off weight of the A220. Now Airbus is giving the larger A220-300 another range bonus.
Now the manufacturer has given the A220-300 another surcharge. In the middle of the year, the maximum take-off weight will increase by another ton to 70.9 tons, Airbus manager Antonio Da Costa told Flightglobal magazine. This allows the plane to fly another 200 nautical miles or 370 kilometers.
No change for A220-100
Nothing changes this time on the smaller A220-100. It retains a maximum take-off weight of 63.1 tons and a range of 3450 nautical miles or 6390 kilometers.
