The Final Cut includes full speech (in English) and some new content compared to the normal version. The innovations include four side quests, each of which focuses on one of the political philosophies of Disco Elysium, namely communism, fascism, moralism and ultra-liberalism. And while they will “not have much of an impact on the main plot of the game,” they are by no means intended to be insignificant. In addition, the development team has added many new details to the game world. New animations, new or improved character portraits as well as new sound and light effects are promised.
The Final Cut at a glance:
- “Free for all Disco Elysium players
- New assignments for your political vision
- New characters
- New clothing
- New cutscenes
- Full dubbing
- More than 150,000 words of new game text
- Full support for controllers “
The “normal version” of Disco Elysium was released in mid-October 2019 and was awarded a gold award in our test (to the test).
