Three men were killed in an accident near Salzburg on Friday evening. They sat in a car that, for unknown reasons, came off the road near Anthering, north of Salzburg, and crashed into a tree. The police said that none of the inmates were wearing seat belts or had a valid driver’s license.

Two of the occupants were thrown from the vehicle in the accident near the border with Bavaria, the third had to be rescued from the wreck. An emergency doctor could only determine the deaths of the three men aged 25, 29 and 36 years. At first it was unclear who had driven the car. The police also reported that none of the three men were wearing seat belts and none of them had a valid driving license.
